The New Hampshire Local Government Center’s (LGC) 2008 Annual Conference was attended by more than 660 local government officials and staff from cities, towns, counties and schools across the state. Sixty-five sessions covered topics including finance, governance, health and safety, human resources, land use and environment, schools and technology, offering tools and information to help attendees find answers to the pressing issues of today. Special events recognized winners in the Excellence in Annual Report Awards and Municipal Volunteer of the Year Awards. Breakfast roundtable discussions provided additional opportunities for attendees to share challenges and discover creative solutions.
