K-9, Officer find Rochester runaway


ROCHESTER  A 16-year-old boy who ran away from home was tracked a half-mile through the woods by police K-9 Fina and Officer Keith MacKenzie Tuesday night.

Police said the boy fled his Patton Street home after a family argument, but had run from the building without his shoes or a coat.

Fina and MacKenzie discovered the boy huddled in a stand of bushes minutes later.

Capt. Jeff Taylor credited the K-9 Team's skills with the quick recovery
