ROCHESTER - An East Rochester teen was arrested Friday after police used a dog to search of his vehicle, uncovering marijuana and drug paraphernalia

Patrolman David LoConte was cut off by a 1991 Chevrolet Cavalier which nearly caused a collision, police Sgt. Anthony DeLuca said.

K9 patrol officer Keith MacKenzie, with K9 Fina, were called in as backup and performed a "walk around" of the vehicle, which is when Fina alerted MacKenzie to the scent of drugs in the vehicle, according to the release.

A search of the vehicle uncovered an undisclosed quantity of marijuana in the glove box, along with what police referred to as drug paraphernalia.
