Legislative Committee

The legislative committee is one of the busiest committees in the organizations. They are responsible for monitoring all legislation both at the state level and federal level that might have an impact on the organization and its members. The committee provides a report to the membership on the pending bills and whatever position the organization has taken on the bill. They work closely with lobbyists from other allied associations and organizations to get feedback and provide communications to the legislature.
