PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Over 30 years of research experience for Lakes Region Planning Commission, Cigna, Liberty Mutual, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Harbaugh Associates, MediaOne, Mapes Oil Company, Town of Milton, Collignon Associates, TRIAD Research and Consulting, Rochester Country Club, Mark Farrah Associates and the Connecticut Business and Industry Association.

Previously taught at Memphis State University, University of Connecticut, and the College for LifeLong Living. Course taught include Introduction to Sociology, Social Problems, Women in Politics

LEGISLATIVE EXPERIENCE

Eight years in the New Hampshire House of Representatives. Served six years on the Municipal and County Government Committee and two years on Fish and Game. Successfully sponsored, co-sponsored, and lobbied for bills on a variety of subjects including bone marrow transplant register, billboards, do-not call list, municipal liability for transporting household hazardous waste, and land use issues. 

Currently representing the Humane Society of the United States, the American Lung Association, New Hampshire Podiatrist Medical Association, NH Planners Association, NH Association of Regional Planning Commissions, NH City and Town Clerks, and Grey2K USA.

VOLUNTEER

Currently the chair of the Milton ZBA. Previously a member of the Milton Energy Sustainability Committee,  the Milton Planning and a Milton Library Trustee.
