At LGC, we offer health and safety services focused on health improvement and reduction of accidents, injuries and liability so your employees can return home healthy and safe at the end of each work day. Our ongoing communication, education and support are all aimed at helping each LGC Risk Pool Group exemplify a healthy and safe work environment.
NOTE: All educational offerings, trainings, programs and services linked below are complimentary to LGC Risk Pool Groups. They can be tailored for group supervisors and employees-at-large.

The Health and Safety Department at the Local Government Center has been working on an exciting and innovative new resource that will challenge Member Groups to become healthier and safer in the years to come. The Health and Safety Coordinator Academy certification program will provide group leaders with the knowledge and resources to implement worksite health and safety programs. Academy participants will acquire the skills to guide their co-workers in developing awareness of important issues that affect their health and safety both at work and at home.

The LGC's Health and Safety Department offers a variety of programs and services that are complimentary to LGC Risk Pool Groups. The Flu Vaccine Program provides reimbursement for on-site flu shot clinics for the benefit of our health insured members. The Health and Safety Department also offers a variety of advisory services and inspections that are complimentary to LGC Risk Pool Groups.
